What are commissions, fees, and costs with Pathpoint?
There is no cost to quote, bind, or manage policies with Pathpoint. This means no setup fees, monthly charges, or premium minimums.
Commission
Commission rates are clearly shown on all quotes and policies. The standard commission is 10%; however, agents may earn more on binding or brokerage accounts through agency partnerships or volume. We are here to help you grow, and we frequently offer commissions higher than standard.
Commissions are paid consistently on PathPay Insured (direct/insured bill) policies, and payout can be set up in Ascend during billing setup at registration.
Fees
To cover E&S servicing costs, we do include fees. This will show as the Pathpoint Fee on the quote cover letter and with your quotes in the portal.
Where we do require an inspection, we will also charge an inspection fee to cover our costs of conducting the inspection, reviewing it, and helping you action any findings that come up during the inspection.
Your account manager and underwriter have the ability to modify fees on a deal-by-deal basis to help you win business. To learn more, connect with your Account Manager.
