Common Property Inspection Findings
Overview
Inspections may also result in risk recommendations. Depending on the type, these can be Critical or Advisory:
Critical: High-risk conditions must be corrected within 30 days. Non-compliance may affect the policy. The insured has 30 days from receipt of recommendations to comply and avoid cancellation.
Advisory: Compliance is not required to retain coverage, but the carrier may choose to enforce it mid-term or at renewal. These lower-risk items are recommended to reduce overall risk exposure.
