Yes, you will need an appointment with Pathpoint, even if you have one with Bold Penguin. Learn how to get appointed here.

Also, you must hold a license for any state you plan to write business in.

With that said, you can still quote business with Pathpoint before you are appointed, so you can get back to your client sooner.
